‘Walk a mile in my shoes’

This pair of shoes tells many stories about my wonderful husband and his line of work. Everyday he is on his feet for nearly 15 hours; walking around the hospital to check on patients, consulting or standing in the OR for 8 hours for a whiple procedure.

A lot of people has a misconception that because my husband is a surgery resident, I rarely get to see him. That’s not true at all. I see him everyday! We actually eat breakfast together every morning, usually it’s Reese’s puff cereal but still, we would eat together. It’s been that way since day 1 of his residency. And I see him every night (except for the night that he’s on 24 hours call) and believe it or not, he does get a weekend off every now and then 😊.

I don’t know how he does it sometimes, working 15-16 hours a day, and come home, hang out with me and Jax for a couple of hours and is back at the hospital again the next morning doing the same thing. Also, I don’t know how he put up with me! I’m very blessed to have found my soul mate

Don’t worry guys, we buy him new shoes quite often 😊 probably every 6-8 months! He just got the Adidas ultra boost, since I heard they are the most comfortable shoes right now. I will have to do a review on that soon.

Happy Friday! ❤️❤️😘
